Benefits Administrator, La Plata Electric Association Inc.
Location: Durango, Co
The Benefits Administrator assists with the day-to-day operation of the People and Culture Department, including administration and communication of employee benefit and compensation programs, regulatory compliance, record keeping, data base management, policy administration and employee communication and assistance. This position requires complete, reliable, accurate and efficient backup in the performance of required duties for processing payroll for the Association.
A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; in human resources or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) preferred or equivalent experience.
